Aaron Ramsey has completed the first part of his medical ahead of a proposed move to Juventus, according to reports, with the final paperwork to be signed this week.
Goal‘s Romeo Agresti claims Ramsey underwent medical examinations in London on Sunday, on behalf of Juventus. The Italian club have made him an offer to join in the summer on a five-year contract of €7m-per-season net plus bonuses.
David Baldwin, Ramsey’s agent, is set to meet Juventus executives later this week, but this is reportedly ‘just a formality’. The likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich and AS Monaco are all seemingly out of the race now.
As reported by other sources, as well as Goal, Juventus are still keen to sign Ramsey in the January transfer window. Arsenal don’t want to sell, but the Serie A champions are likely to make one last attempt to convince them.
Goal report Juventus are willing to offer €9m, whilst Nicolo Schira of La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Arsenal want €18-20m or Medhi Benatia to complete the deal.

Most likely, the two clubs are still too far apart to find an agreement on this matter. Instead, Ramsey will remain with Arsenal until the summer, before joining Juventus on a free transfer.
The Welshman has three goals and six assists in 25 appearances for Arsenal this season (14 starts). He’s arguably been more impressive from the bench, with six of his nine goal contributions coming in those 11 substitute appearances. Let’s hope he can keep having an impact between now and whenever he ends up leaving.
