Lucas Torreira, Bernd Leno, Alex Iwobi and Rob Holding have all been nominated for Arsenal’s Player of the Month award for November.

Arsenal didn’t have a perfect November this time around, but it went a lot better than usual. The Gunners started with a hard-fought draw with Liverpool, before another draw against Sporting Lisbon put them through to the knockout stages of the Europa League.

Then another, more disappointing, draw against Wolves was followed by two wins against Bournemouth and FC Vorskla, ensuring top spot in the group.

Bernd Leno had a good month, keeping Arsenal in the game against Liverpool and Wolves and helping them win all three points against Bournemouth. Lucas Torreira was the star of the show in that Liverpool game, and similarly impressive in the other two league games as well.

Meanwhile, Rob Holding certainly had the busiest month, playing all five games in November. He can take a lot of credit for the two Europa League clean sheets.

Finally, Iwobi continued his impressive progress this season, playing the assist for Lacazette’s Liverpool equaliser and the pass of the match in the build-up to Aubameyang’s winner against Bournemouth.
