Dinos Mavropanos should be back playing for Arsenal next month according to Unai Emery’s latest update.
Dinos Mavropanos has not played a minute’s football this season as he continues to try and recover from a groin injury picked up in pre-season.
He was originally supposed to return to training in November but this was pushed back to December and that is his current status on Arsenal.com.
Speaking about his plans for the January window, Unai Emery, however, delivered a more substantial update about the Greek centreback.
Emery said, “Mavropanos is starting to do training on the pitch and running. Maybe in one month he can help us, but also in this transfer window if we have one good opportunity to help us and sign [someone], we are working for that.”
