Jordan Nobbs has posted a picture after the Arsenal midfielder underwent surgery on her damaged ACL.

Although Arsenal have given no timeframe for Nobbs’ return, averages tell us that she will be sidelined for at least eight months.

Danny Welbeck’s first knee injury kept him out for 276 days while his second sidelined him for 238. Theo Walcott, meanwhile, was out 280 days with his cruciate injury.

An average from those three timeframes takes us to 8 August 2019, just over eight months away. The Women’s World Cup, at which Nobbs’ was certain to star, begins in France on 7 June.

Nobbs recently posted an update on her Twitter feed after she underwent surgery to repair the damaged ligament.
