Juventus are the current front-runners for Aaron Ramsey’s signature next summer, and they’re currently working on a deal to bring the Welshman in on a free transfer.

Di Marzio claim that Juventus, Inter Milan and Paris Saint-Germain are all very interested in the Arsenal midfielder, whose contract expires next summer. However, Inter don’t feel they can afford Ramsey’s wage demands, which are even higher than the offer they’ve made to star striker Mauro Icardi.

Meanwhile, Ramsey isn’t particularly keen on moving to Paris, which seemingly rules PSG out of the running as well. As a result, Juventus are the most likely remaining destination. According to Di Marzio’s information, the club are preparing an offer for the player, which they’ll be free to make with or without Arsenal’s consent in January.

Ramsey isn’t the only player on the Serie A side’s shortlist though. They are reportedly also considering Isco of Real Madrid, who is out of favour with his current manager, just like the Arsenal man.

There’s a lot more competition in Isco’s case though, and he’d cost a lot more as a result. Plus, they haven’t made first contact with the Spaniard yet.

Di Marzio generally have a good record for transfer news, and they’ve built themselves a reputation as being very reliable in the last year or two.

On the other hand, all they’re confirming at this stage is that Juventus are planning to make an offer. That doesn’t mean Ramsey will accept, and it doesn’t mean Arsenal can’t make the midfielder another offer of their own. We’ll have to wait and see if they do.
