Crystal Palace are reportedly formulating an offer to sign Rennes 20-year-old winger Ismaila Sarr as Arsenal ponder making a move themselves.

So says a report in France Football via Maxifoot.fr.

This isn’t the first time that Arsenal have been linked with a move for Sarr who only signed for Rennes in the summer, costing £15.3m from Metz.

Back in October, the Mirror reported that Arsenal had already ‘lined up’ the player (along with Kai Havertz) before then saying he was a player Sven Mislintat had in his sights.

That followed on from a report in the Daily Mail in September that claimed the 5ft 11 right-footer, who prefers to play on the left wing, is valued at around £12.6m but he could cost almost double that at £20m.

Sarr has six goals and five assists in 21 appearances for Rennes this season so far.
