Arsenal are prepared to listen to offers of £15m and above for Aaron Ramsey when the January transfer window opens as they try to recoup some money before his contract expires.

Aaron Ramsey will be leaving Arsenal, it’s just a case of ‘when’ rather than ‘if’.

Although the club would like to get some money for him, the more likely outcome is he will leave for nothing in the summer.

A free move suits everybody involved except Arsenal. Ramsey can command larger wages and his new club will pick up a £50m-rated player for nothing.

At present, PSG are said to be leading the race for his signature but he has also been linked with Juventus, both Milan sides and Bayern Munich.

Chelsea are also still interested.

Given that list of teams, it’s hard to understand why Emery and co. are so keen to shift Ramsey from the club. It’s supposed to be about money and cutting the wage bill but I can’t help but feel there’s more to it than that.
