Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was snapped in pictures alongside famous chef ‘Salt Bae’ over the international break, as the striker took a trip to Dubai.

A few days after the likes of Paul Pogba, Cesc Fabregas and Lionel Messi travelled to the UAE to dine at the viral chef’s restaurant, Arsenal’s star striker followed suit. Pictures of the pair went up on Instagram over the last few days:

According to AS, Aubameyang drew some attention thanks to some expensive jewellery he was wearing at the dinner. The Spanish outlet writes that he wore Cartier bracelets with a value of €39,000 and €32,000 respectively, plus a pendant worth over €100,000 and a ‘glittering high-end watch’ which they estimate brings the total to at least €200k.

In all honesty, the striker can wear whatever expensive clothing and jewellery he wants in his free time, as long as he’s pulling on an Arsenal shirt in training and on matchdays. Aubameyang is the club’s leading goalscorer this season, just one goal short of double figures in all competitions.

Let’s hope he finds that tenth goal this weekend. The 29-year-old should be fit to at least make the squad against Bournemouth, after picking up a knock before the international break, but we’ll have to wait and see if he makes the starting XI.
