Lucas Torreira thinks his Arsenal song is ‘beautiful’ and admits hearing it ring out makes him feel ‘very proud’.

The diminutive Uruguayan has come into the Arsenal squad and stolen the tiny spot in all our hearts we had kept warm for Santi Cazorla. It is no surprise, then, that he has been one of the first new recruits to get his own chant.

To the ‘tune’ of ‘Vieira..’ Torreira’s song goes:

Speaking to the Spanish media after Arsenal’s game against Liverpool at the weekend when the midfielder shone alongside Granit Xhaka, Torreira said, “Yes, yes. Very beautiful. I am very happy every time they sing and I am very proud of it all.”

Speaking about the game, Torreira told RedeTV, “I prepare myself a lot during the week to be able to stand up to this kind of game.
