Jurgen Klopp has given an update on the availability of three of his star players ahead of Liverpool’s trip to the Emirates Stadium this weekend.

Naby Keita, Jordan Henderson and Mohamed Salah were all doubts ahead of the big-six clash on Saturday. Henderson is suffering from a hamstring injury, and Keita picked up an injury on international duty, and neither have returned to full training. Klopp confirmed they’ll both miss out.

Meanwhile, Salah spent the last few days wearing a wrist splint in training, but the Liverpool boss revealed that their star goalscorer will be fine to take part in the Arsenal match all the same.

Liverpool’s only other injury issue is with former Gunner Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who the Independent write is still unlikely to return before the end of the season.

Missing out on Keita and Henderson shouldn’t be a major issue for Liverpool. They still have Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Lallana and Milner as options in the middle, who aren’t exactly fringe players.

Meanwhile, Arsenal have the likes of Laurent Koscielny, Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal all still major doubts at best for the clash. Hopefully, those filling in can impress if the trio all miss out.
