Arsene Wenger has been offered ‘four or five jobs’ according to his close friend, and former Arsenal vice-chairman, David Dein who hints that he might take a national team job.

Arsene Wenger is still, to the surprise of some, without a job. Wenger always maintained that he would go straight back to work if/when he left Arsenal, but the Frenchman has taken time since leaving the club after more than two decades to relax and recharge.

In that time he’s been linked with a host of clubs and national teams, Japan, France, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester United, PSG, Barcelona are all on the list.

Despite how his tenure ended at Arsenal, there is no denying that Wenger is still a top manager and it’s no surprise that a host of clubs want him.

“He’s had four or five major job offers but I think he will make a decision in January,” Dein said.

“I’m not sure that a club job is right at his stage of life.”

If anyone knows what Arsene Wenger is considering for his next move, then it is David Dein.

Dein was responsible for Wenger coming to Arsenal and the pair formed an incredibly close friendship. There is a massive argument to be made that when Dein left Arsenal Wenger lost his best ally and deal closer.
