Arsenal will welcome Mohamed Elneny back to full training next week while doubts still hang over Nacho Monreal ahead of Arsenal’s game against Sporting CP in the UEFA Europa League.

Mohamed Elneny has been out of action since he picked up a muscular injury in the first match against Sporting last month. Arsenal’s latest update states that the Egyptian midfielder will return to full training next week.

Nacho Monreal, meanwhile is listed as a ‘doubt’ for Thursday’s game. That would normally mean he will undergo a late fitness test ahead of the game, however, he was also listed as a doubt for the game against Liverpool.

Similarly, Sokratis, who has been out with a right ankle problem, is also a doubt – the same as he was for the Premier League game at the weekend.

Laurent Koscielny will definitely not feature as he continues to be integrated back into full training after his horrendous Achilles’ injury.

Dinos Mavropanos is also still sidelined with the Greek defender expected back from his groin injury later this month.
