Arsenal’s analyst, Victor Manas, has been banned for one game after being found guilty of ‘improper conduct’ at halftime of Arsenal’s game against Crystal Palace on 28 October.

Victor Manas arrived at Arsenal in the summer as part of Unai Emery’s coaching team. Originally trained as a strength and conditioning coach, he was moved on to data and video analysis in 2007 under Emery’s tutelage when the pair met at Almeria.

It was put to Manas that he was in breach of FA Rule 3 and that “Mr Manas’ behaviour in or around half-time of the fixture amounts to improper conduct.”

Manas requested an FA paper hearing, however, the charge stood and he was fined £6,000 and given a one-match touchline ban.
