Alexis Sanchez has reportedly been left ‘raging’ after Jose Mourinho decided not to select him for the squad to face Young Boys, despite the Chilean forward being fit.

Mourinho left Sanchez out of Tuesday’s squad entirely, and the Manchester United boss made it very clear afterwards that the choice had nothing to do with injury. The 29-year-old was simply dropped, after his poor start to the season.

The Mirror write that Sanchez is raging over the incident, and he’s now ‘more set’ on an exit than ever. The £500,000-a-week forward fears he has no future at the club under Mourinho. He’s now ‘set his heart’ on a move to Ligue 1 and Paris Saint-Germain.

This isn’t the first time Sanchez has been left out of a Manchester United squad this season. He didn’t even make the bench for the club’s previous home game in the Champions League against Juventus either.

In total, the former Gunner has made seven starts in 19 games this season. Compare that to his last full season at Arsenal, when he made 47 starts in 55 games. Either he’s experienced a huge drop-off in his physical capabilities or Mourinho just doesn’t rate him very highly.

I bet he’s glad he forced his way out of the club that did value him though. I wonder if he still gets goosebumps when he looks down at the Manchester United badge on his chest.
