Alexandre Lacazette was left out of Arsenal’s 2-1 win over Bournemouth due to a slight groin problem but it was just precautionary and he should be back in contention for selection against Vorskla on Thursday.

Alexandre Lacazette had to turn down a long overdue international recall during this break because of the groin problem he picked up in his last outing.

Although it was hoped he would be fit to play against the Cherries on Sunday, Arsenal opted against taking a risk with him and left him at home.

Speaking in his post-Bournemouth press conference, Unai Emery said, “Yesterday Lacazette felt a small injury.”
