Aaron Ramsey’s agent, David Baldwin, has offered his client to Bayern Munich, and the English media are reporting that the Germans are confident they’ll sign him.

German outlet Sport Bild report that Baldwin already has connections at the Bundesliga club as a result of the impending transfer of another one of his clients, Alphonso Davies, from the Vancouver Whitecaps to Bayern in January. As a result, he reportedly took the opportunity to offer Ramsey to the club as well.

The Independent write that Bayern are confident they’ve now won the race to sign the Arsenal star, after a recent breakthrough in talks. Ramsey is ‘expected to sign a long-term contract’ with the club from the start of next season.

Meanwhile, Sky Sports don’t seem to think talks have gone quite that far. They’re reporting that Bayern have an interest in the Welshman, but nothing more. Sport Bild also suggest that there’s no agreement with the 27-year-old just yet. However, they’re all in agreement that there’s at least something to the story.

As are The S*n, who report that Bayern are sending scouts to watch Ramsey playing for Wales against Denmark on Friday night. We’ll see how the midfielder does in the clash.
