Arsenal have launched @ArsenalAcademy on Twitter in another move that lifts some of the secrecy that surrounded the club’s operations for the two decades under Arsene Wenger.

There is no doubt that the club have been slightly more open with information, from details about specific injuries to updates about the women, it seems like Raul Sanllehi, Unai Emery and their teams believe fans should have a bit more information about what goes on at the club they help fund.

“Comprehensive match coverage, special features, and behind-the-scenes content will bring you closer to our development squads than ever before, and we’ll make sure you’re always updated on goings-on from Hale End and London Colney,” is what we can expect from the account which will be in full flow for Arsenal’s Checkatrade Trophy match against Cheltenham on Tuesday.

In the meantime, here is an interview with Emile Smith Rowe
