Lucas Torreira is back in training with Arsenal after an injury scare on international duty, based on a photo posted by head coach Unai Emery.
Emery tweeted out a picture of the Gunners in training on Tuesday. Those who missed out on international duty were joined by the likes of Mohamed Elneny, whose only game took place over the weekend, and youth players such as Julio Pleguezuelo, Emile Smith Rowe, Robbie Burton and Zech Medley.
In a good sign for Arsenal fans, Lucas Torreira was also present in the session.

Torreira had an injury scare over the break, after a half-time substitution in Uruguay’s match against Mexico. We covered quotes from Uruguay u20 manager Fabian Coito confirming that Torreira was only taken off as a precaution, but it’s still great to see for ourselves that he’s back in training with the team.
With any luck, we might finally see the summer signing start his first competitive match for Arsenal at the weekend, as the Gunners travel to St. James’ Park to face Newcastle. We’ll have to wait for Emery’s line-up on Saturday though.
