Just as it looked as if Lucas Torreira might return from this international break as an Arsenal starter, the Uruguayan picked up a knock while playing for his country.
Lucas Torreira will be assessed after he picked up a knock in the 4-1 friendly win over Mexico. The Arsenal midfielder was replaced at HT on Saturday and sat through the whole of the second forty-five watching from the bench with an ice pack wrapped around his left leg. #AFC

Uruguay defeated Mexico 4-1 on Saturday with goals from Luis Suarez (2), Jose Gimenez and Gaston Pereiro overwhelming the hosts’ opener from Rul Jiminez.
Torreira started the game for the visitors but was replaced after halftime by Fabian Coito.
The midfielder enjoyed a decent first half with a 93.8% passing accuracy.
I checked through 17 papers from Uruguay this morning and there was no update about Torreira’s injury so we can hope that it’s nothing much to talk about.
