Sead Kolasinac and Carl Jenkinson are both ahead of schedule with their respective comebacks from injury, but Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set for an assessment after the match against FC Vorskla.

Arsenal gave a medical update on their injured players on Friday, ahead of the weekend match against Everton. They revealed that Kolasinac, initially scheduled to return to training at any time in October, is now set to join full training early in the month. That’s a welcome boost, considering Nacho Monreal is having to play every game right now.

Meanwhile Jenkinson was previously scheduled for a comeback sometime in October/ November, but he’s also now set to return in early October. With Hector Bellerin and Stephan Lichtsteiner ahead of him, he’ll likely still struggle for game time, but nonetheless it’s better to have him fit and available.

Meanwhile Mkhitaryan picked up an ankle injury during the Vorskla match, and is currently being assessed. Hopefully it’s nothing major, and it seems like there’s still a possibility he could feature against Everton. We’ll have to wait and see though. With two assists in mid-week, it would be a shame to see him out of the squad right now.
