Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang posted a picture with Thierry Henry on Monday, taken after Arsenal’s win over Everton at the weekend.

Aubameyang scored the second of Arsenal’s two goals in their fifth consecutive win on Sunday. Afterwards, he had the chance to meet the club’s greatest ever goalscorer, Thierry Henry.

Clearly Pierre Jr wasn’t particularly interested in the meet up, as Aubameyang explained on his Instagram that his son just wanted to go home. The Gabon striker couldn’t resist sticking around to get a picture with the Gunners legend though.

The Arsenal fans loved the photo. At the time of writing it has over 360,000 likes, and the replies are filled with comments like “Goat meets goat”, “Auba and The King. What a picture”, and “Too much class in one picture!”

Hopefully Aubameyang takes some inspiration from Henry in his performances for the rest of the season. The 29-year-old currently leads the scoring charts for Arsenal this season, with four goals, but you feel there’s still a bit more to come from him. With any luck, he and Lacazette will keep putting them away on a weekly basis.
