Arsenal have reportedly been in touch regarding midfielder, James Rodriguez, who is struggling on loan with Bayern Munich this season.

Or so the story goes.

James, who signed a two-year loan deal with the Germans last summer, has played just 18 Bundelisga minutes this season and is, reportedly, not happy with the situation.

The player and his parent club, Real Madrid, are said to have already held talks about the situation with Arsenal, led by Sven Mislintat and Raul Sanllehi, ‘keeping an eye on the situation’ while reaching out to the Spaniards to make tentative inquiries.

This isn’t the first time Arsenal have been linked with the Colombian who used to be married to David Ospina’s sister so it’s not hard to imagine the club being interested.

The main problem with this story, which is starting to spread, is that the source is Don Balon who are about as reliable as The Daily Star on a bad day.

To be fair, we should be happy it’s not Karim Benzema they are linking us with. That has been an obsession for their website for a few seasons now.
