Joel Campbell has been told he has a ‘free hand’ to find a new club according to a report from Spain.

The Costa Rican, who has been on six loans since he signed for Arsenal in 2011, has been told by Unai Emery that he is not in his plans moving forward and that he can find a new home.

Both Lazio and Fenerbahce are said to be interested in the 26-year-old however they are concerned over his price.

They needn’t worry, it’s unlikely to be too high.

Although it’s not clear how long Campbell has left on his current Arsenal contract, the last deal he signed was in the summer of 2015 before he was sent on loan to Villarreal and likely runs until 2019.

That means the player only has one year left on his contract and after an injury-ravaged season last season, his price should be conducive to a sale.

Transfermarkt list him as worth £2.7m.
