Arsenal have pushed back the launch date for the new third kit once again, with the new plan now to release it on tour of Singapore, according to reports.

Twitter user Arsenal Fixture News reports that the launch is now set to take place at The Esplanade Lawn, Singapore on Friday July 27th at 15:30 local time (08:30 UK time).

This is the second time the launch has reportedly been pushed back. Originally it was set for a June 21st reveal, then July 12th, but it’s July 14th and we’re still waiting.

Although no reason is given for the change in schedule, it most likely has something to do with a mixture of Arsenal’s transfer business so far, as well as the chance to sell to local fans in Singapore.

The signings of Sokratis Papastathopoulos and Lucas Torreira dragged on longer than expected, meaning they couldn’t be used in any promotional content for the kit up until this stage.

Now, Sokratis, Guendouzi, Leno and Lichtsteiner should all be available for the live launch on tour. Arsenal can take some photos of Torreira for the release as well. In fact, they probably already have, as the Uruguayan is now back on holiday.

Hopefully this time the information is accurate and we don’t have to wait too much longer, or the season will start before the kits are all released.
