Arsenal have reportedly offered €50m for Kingsley Coman in a story that refuses to die.

There seems little chance of the German champions parting with Coman, and even less than they will sell him for €50m, but that’s what Sport.fr are reporting.

The French outlet also claim that Coman is ‘very interested’ in joining Arsenal but I’m not entirely sure I believe that either.

Coman, 22, is incredibly highly-rated in Munich after arriving in 2015 on loan from Juventus before sealing a permanent move last summer. In total, he cost Bayern Munich £248m when you factor in his initial loan and transfer fee.

Arsenal have been in the market for a winger this summer and the way this story has stuck around leads me to believe the club are interested in signing Coman. That may be, but Bayern Munich are in no mood to sell the player who scored seven and assisted eight in 33 appearances last season. It would be very surprising to see this story develop any further.
