Jeff Reine-Adelaide, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Deyan Iliev all suffered injuries this week, in a run of bad fortune on the fitness front for the club’s youngsters.
Konstantinos Mavropanos
First, an injury forced Mavropanos off the pitch on Tuesday, as the u23s played against Villarreal Youth. The Greek defender hurt himself making a crucial block to keep the Spanish side out.
At first it wasn’t clear whether he picked up an injury or not, but his exclusion from the u23 game on Friday confirms that he has an issue. So far there’s no official word from the club on how long he’ll miss.
Deyan Iliev
After that, a kick to the head meant Iliev was a first-half substitution in that u23 match against Swansea City. After the match he posted an update on social media to let fans know that whilst he didn’t want to come off, thankfully it’s nothing serious. It looks like a pretty nasty cut though:

Jeff Reine-Adelaide
On loan at Angers, Reine-Adelaide sprained his ankle in their 1-1 draw against Nice. The Frenchman had to come off after just 14 minutes of the match.
It’s not all bad news, as manager Stephane Moulin didn’t rule out a return as soon as next week. He only went as far as to say Reine-Adelaide’s participation in the next match “may be called into question”.

Hopefully all three will make speedy recoveries.
