Jakub Jankto says he would like a new experience, and to get to know a new country, further adding to the Arsenal speculation fueled by recent comments from his agent.

Jankto was speaking at the Czech player of the year awards. He won Best Czech Young Player of 2017, and afterwards told reporters that although he is comfortable at his current club, he would embrace a change.

“I’m a player who has been owned by Udinese for four years, so I’m very comfortable there,” he said. “I’d also like to have another experience though, I like to get to know different countries and cultures. I’m not afraid to change.”

He clarified that he hasn’t made up his mind up just yet though, and will gives his all for Udinese until the day he leaves.

“I am certainly not someone who gives up. I’m absolutely concentrated on Udinese and have always done my best for this club. I always will,” he insisted.

Jankto’s agent recently revealed that Arsenal and AC Milan are “certainly contenders” for his client’s signature. The media regularly linked Arsene Wenger’s side with Jankto in January, although that came to nothing.

The Czech international previously admitted he doesn’t want to stay in Italy for the rest of his career. He also revealed last summer that he supported the Gunners as a child, as well as Juventus. That seemed to further increase the chances that he could be open to a move.

Jankto is having a decent season with the Serie A club. He has five goals and six assists in 30 matches in all competitions.

We’ll see if that’s enough to convince Arsenal to make a serious offer.
