Danny Welbeck will get his chance to shine as Arsenal look set to play a strong team against Östersunds FK on Thursday night.

Arsenal travel to chilly Sweden on Thursday night and should be taking their big hitters with them.

Arsene Wenger said he would field a strong side as they are without a game the following weekend.

Unfortunately, he received a big blow on Tuesday when Alexandre Lacazette was ruled out for between 4-6 weeks.

The Frenchman was due to start up front as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is cup-tied.

With Lacazette out, Danny Welbeck is the next in line to start as the team’s striker.

He and Eddie Nketiah are the only other strikers registered in Arsenal’s Europa League squad.

With the Europa League now taking on greater importance, Wenger is likely to go with his experienced option.

The rest of the team will depend on the shape.

Wenger opted for three midfielders against Tottenham last weekend, but could return to using the 4-2-3-1.

That would see Alex Iwobi restored to the side, along with Mesut Ozil and Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Doubts over Aaron Ramsey, who missed the Spurs game with a groin injury, means Jack Wilshere should play alongside Granit Xhaka.

The backline will be as expected, while David Ospina is due his customary cup appearance.

The line-up could be:

Ospina – Bellerin, Koscielny, Mustafi, Monreal – Xhaka, Wilshere – Iwobi, Ozil, Mkhitaryan – Welbeck
