Watford will demand at least £25m for midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure, according to reports.

Doucoure has been a stand-out player during this Premier League season.

He’s now being linked with a move to one of the top clubs.

The Daily Mail reported last week that Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham were all keen on the midfielder.

While Tottenham appear to be the most interested, Doucoure is the type of all-action midfield player that Arsenal could use.

According to the Sunday People (via HITC), Watford will demand a club-record fee of £25m for the 25-year-old.

They also report that Watford are not in a rush to sell him and want to give him a new deal.

Doucoure joined Watford from Rennes in 2016 and showed some impressive form under the management of Marco Silva.

He’s the physical, box-to-box presence that could add another dimension to Arsenal’s midfield.

Midfield is one area that Arsenal have to address in the summer, and £25m doesn’t seem an awful lot compared to the other fees they’ve recently handed out.
