Arsenal will wear their traditional red and white kit when they travel to Wembely to face Tottenham on Saturday.
Although the game is away from home, you’ll all be relieved to know that Arsenal have binned their awful blue away kit, for this away fixture at least, and will stride out upon the hallowed, but sullied, Wembley turf in the colours they should always be seen in.
Arsenal released the information on their website, allowing us all to breathe a huge sigh of relief.
Arsenal have only won once in their blue kit since September, in fact, that’s the only win they’ve had in the league all season wearing that little number.
Here are Arsenal’s results wearing the blue kit so far this campaign (competitive matches only):
- Liverpool 4-0 Arsenal – Sunday August 27th
- BATE Borisov 2-4 Arsenal – Thursday September 28th
- Watford 2-1 Arsenal – Saturday October 14th
- FC Köln 1-0 Arsenal – Thursday November 23rd
- Southampton 1-1 Arsenal – Sunday December 10th
- Nottingham Forest 4-2 Arsenal – Sunday January 7th
- Bournemouth 1-2 Arsenal -Wednesday January 14

So that’s: Played 8 W2 D1 L5.
