Arsenal are looking at Jack Butland and Jasper Cillessen as replacements for Petr Cech in the summer, according to reports.

A new goalkeeper could be a priority in the summer and we’re already seeing a couple of names being linked.

The S*n have linked us with a £40m move for Stoke City’s keeper Jack Butland.

They report that the 24-year-old is a big target for Liverpool, who are also after a new keeper, and that Arsenal will compete with them.

Butland has played 24 games for Stoke this season and could find himself playing in the Championship next season.

If he does, it could be easier to persuade Stoke to sell.

Elsewhere, today’s edition of Mundo Deportivo has a report on the future of Barcelona goalkeeper Jasper Cillessen.

The Dutchman is the back-up to Marc-Andre ter Stegen and may leave to become first choice elsewhere.

Their report mostly links him to Bayern, but they also mention interest from England.

Arsenal are brought up towards the end of the report, which suggests that this isn’t a serious link.

Rather, we just so happen to need a new keeper, so we could be interested.

At 28, Cillessen could be lured by the prospect of more first team football. He has a release clause of €60m (approx £53m)
