Arsenal photographer Stuart MacFarlane has revealed that he’s been putting together Jack Wilshere’s head shots during his time in north London and fans reckon this could be a sign that the 26-year-old is signing a new contract.

Jack now has less than six months left on his Arsenal contract and although Arsene Wenger insists he wants the 26-year-old to stay at the club, we’re yet to see him put pen to paper on a new deal.

However, fans reckon that we might be edging closer to an announcement after Stuart MacFarlane shared a bunch of head shots of the midfielder during his time at Arsenal while poking some gentle, facial-hair based fun at the lad.

Why else would the club’s head ‘tog be collecting Jack’s head shots from over the years?

After Mesut Ozil finally signed a new three-year deal with the Gunners last week, fans are on the edge of their seats waiting for Jack to seal his as well.

The England international has been a fan favourite for years and after his return from injury this season, Gooners are desperate for him to pledge his future to the club he’s been at since the age of nine.

Does Stuart’s Twitter post mean anything? The photographer does say it’s for the official website but, of course, it could just be a feature.
