Arsene Wenger has said that Jack Wilshere could play against Bournemouth on Sunday, while Aaron Ramsey is set to return to the squad.
Wilshere had to go off in the second half of Arsenal’s Carabao Cup semi-final at Stamford Bridge due to an ankle problem.
The midfielder blocked a cross into the box, but damaged his ankle in the process.
Arsene Wenger confirmed after the game that it was ligament damage and said he could be short for the trip to Bournemouth on Sunday.
Amid the fear and disappointment that he could be out for a while, Wilshere has taken to Twitter to assure fans he’ll be back soon.
