Manchester United could have a hard time keeping hold of young keeper Dean Henderson with Arsenal and several other clubs interested, according to reports.
Henderson, who is currently on loan at League One Shrewsbury, will be available on a free transfer in the summer.
According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United could have a tough time extending his contract as several clubs are interested in signing him.
Arsenal have been named, along with Chelsea, Watford, Roma, Benfica and Olympiacos.
They report that Henderson is realistic about his prospects at United, as David De Gea isn’t going anywhere any time soon.
The 20-year-old has been in fine form for Shrewsbury and has helped them to second place in League One.
With Petr Cech ageing and declining, and David Ospina often proving to be unreliable, Arsenal could soon be in the market for a goalkeeper.
Henderson would be an unlikely pick for first choice keeper, but could make a promising understudy.
However, he may choose to go somewhere where he can get regular first team football.
He certainly wouldn’t get that at Arsenal straight away.
