Although nothing’s official yet, reports are now starting to do the rounds that Alexis Sanchez has signed a four-and-a-half year deal with Manchester United.
Alexis’ impending move to United appears to be edging closer. The 29-year-old is set to complete his move to Old Trafford this week and now the alleged details of his new contract are coming to light.
According to the Telegraph, who tend to be pretty reliable when it comes to Arsenal gossip, the Chilean has penned a four-and-a-half year contract, which will earn him £14m after tax.
wow. £14m AFTER TAX is roughly £500k per week. https://t.co/mw3PXDNXs7

This means the Red Devils will have forked out £60m for the forward in total, including his £30m transfer fee, wages, agents fees and signing on fee. The same amount Manchester City supposedly offered us during the summer.
City and Chelsea, who were also linked, weren’t willing to pay that much for a player with only six months left on his contract.
What’s more, 28-year-old playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan is set to go the other way. The Gunners won’t allow Alexis to join Jose Mourinho’s side until the former Dortmund man agrees.
If Alexis has signed a deal with United already, I imagine he and his agent have reason to believe Mkhitaryan is up for it.
