Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos has reportedly asked his agent to set up some talks after interest from Arsenal and Liverpool.
Ceballos has been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool recently, and according to Spanish outlet Diario Gol, the 21-year-old has sent a warning to Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez and coach Zinedine Zidane.
The midfielder is apparently growing increasingly unhappy with his lack of game time for Los Blancos. He’s only made six La Liga appearances this season and scored two goals. As a result, he’s allegedly threatened to leave if his situation doesn’t improve.
The Spain u21 international only signed from Betis in July, so I’m not sure how serious he is about leaving. His contract doesn’t run out until June 2023. This could just be an empty threat – that’s if the report’s true of course.
Diario Gol also claim that Ceballos has FIVE other suitors but doesn’t name who they are, which makes it seem like the player’s just trying to get himself more game time.
During his final season with Betis, the midfielder made 30 La Liga appearances, so you can understand his frustration at not being played. But come on, dude, you’re at Real Madrid and you’re 21! Have some patience!
