Arsene Wenger says he doesn’t plan to respond to poor results by leaving the club, despite increasing pressure on the manager to do so.
Arsenal have lost half their games since the turn of the year, and drawn the other half. The last win for the Gunners came against this weekend’s opponents Crystal Palace.
Some supporters have turned on the boss again, but Wenger says he’s still not thinking about leaving the club.

To say this year “has not been very positive” is a bit of an understatement. So far, Arsenal have sold Francis Coquelin and Theo Walcott, and only brought in Konstantinos Mavropanos. The Gunners also seem close to losing Alexis Sanchez, who isn’t starting matches for the team either way.
On the pitch, Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest came out deserving winners from their clashes with Wenger’s side. The club did manage two draws against Chelsea, but they really needed a win at the Emirates. Plus, the draw at Stamford Bridge is only a good result if they follow it up with a victory next Wednesday.
As expected, none of that convinced Wenger to hand in his resignation. The manager takes pride in the fact he’s never walked away from a contract, and I can’t see that changing. Hopefully he can improve results now, starting with Saturday’s match at the Emirates.
