Copa90 have rounded up some Arsenal fans to explain how they really feel about Alexis Sanchez’s impending move to Manchester United.

Four Arsenal fans, including Poet, have spoken about their feelings towards Alexis’ move to United in a video for Copa90.

While all the fans have good points, for example, Pippa can understand why the Chilean would want to leave because the Gunners just aren’t competitive anymore, I still can’t help but feel anger towards the 29-year-old.

Although there is some bitterness towards him going to a rival because I’m only human, most of my frustration towards Alexis is from the last six months.

He didn’t just want to leave Arsenal, he sulked and stropped and stop trying. It doesn’t matter if you’re unhappy and you wanted to sign for Manchester City in the summer, you’re not there now so you have to be a professional.

Arsenal were still paying the forward’s wages.

Poet sums it up perfectly when he says: “I think we can boo Alexis Sanchez. Not saying it’s right or wrong but the manner in which (he’s) gone about it… (he’s) still getting paid by the club, there are still fans all over the world that have tuned in to their televisions or come to the blooming ground after they’ve paid £85 to sit down and watch you Alexis Sanchez.

“The most you can do is give 100%. We’re not asking you to do it for Arsene Wenger, we’re not asking you to do it for Stan Kroenke or your teammates. I’m asking you to do it for all those 11-year-olds who buy Sanchez t-shirts and run to the games and cheer your name and beg for a signed Sanchez football.

“Do it for them.”

I’m assuming the video was filmed before Arsenal’s 4-1 win over Crystal Palace. Contrary to what Kai says about our ability without Alexis on the pitch, the Gunners put in one of their best performances of the season. It was as if a weight had been lifted.

Personally, I’m optimistic.

See you later, Sanchez.
