Theo Walcott could be a target for Valencia in the January transfer window, according to reports.

Walcott has had a difficult time at Arsenal this season, as he’s yet to start a single Premier League. In recent weeks, he hasn’t even been named on the substitutes’ bench.

While reports have linked with a move to the likes of Everton, Southampton and West Ham, Deporte Valenciano reckon Valencia could also be interested in signing him in January.

Arsene Wenger ruled out selling any of his players in the January transfer window as he wants to keep the current squad together during a busy period.

However, Walcott has only received game time in the Europa League and Carabao Cup and seems to be a bad fit for Arsenal’s current formation.

Valencia are currently having an excellent season in La Liga and sit second in the table, five points off Barcelona.

While Walcott could give their squad a boost, it remains to be seen if they’ll be able to afford his wages or the transfer fee, especially if they’re in competition with Premier League clubs.

Walcott’s last appearance in the Premier League came as a late substitute in the 2-0 win over Brighton in October.
