Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s Manchester United career is in the balance after falling out with manager Jose Mourinho so is there any chance he regrets not moving to Arsenal?

Given the choice between Arsenal and Manchester United, Mkhitaryan chose United.

The move made sense. United needed a creative number ten, and the Armenian could have been the centre piece of the team. At Arsenal, he would have had to compete for that status with Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

Yet, things really aren’t working out for him at Old Trafford.

Having not been included in the starting eleven since November, he’s reportedly had a falling with Jose Mourinho.

According to ESPN, Mkhitaryan angered Mourinho by disagreeing with his assessment of his performance in a video analysis session.

Mourinho allegedly pointed out the midfielder’s mistakes in front of the other players. Mkhitaryan questioned this, with the debate continuing in the corridor.

With his future at United looking bleak, a move away seems all but inevitable.

He’d fit in quite well at Arsenal, who will need to bolster their attack if and when Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil leave the club.

Mourinho, though, wouldn’t even let Arsenal take Demba Ba on loan. The odds of him letting any of his players join us aren’t great.
