Jann-Fiete Arp is reportedly keen to delay talks with Hamburg over a new deal.

Arp and his agent Jurgen Milewski allegedly want to delay talks over another contract extension with Hamburg.

The 17-year-old apparently wants to concentrate on his final high school exams and assess his options further down the line. And boy does he have a lot of options with not only Arsenal but Tottenham, Everton, Chelsea and Manchester City all said to be interested.

The striker only signed a new deal in June taking his current contract up until 2019 but considering how much attention the teenager is attracting, Hamburg apparently want to tie him down for even longer. Arp isn’t so eager.

The Germany u17 international has been at Hamburg since 2010 – when he was just a 10-year-old learning his trade – and therefore it’s understandable that he potentially wants a change of scene.

Arsenal meanwhile are usually on the look-out for new blood to bring over to the academy, as are Chelsea and City, so the links make sense.

This season, Arp has scored twice in nine Bundesliga appearances for Hamburg’s senior side and seven in three for the youth team.

Last term, he netted 28 goals in 25 appearances, again for Hamburg’s youth sides.
