The Arsenal fans are growing concerned about Laurent Koscielny’s recent performances, and called on the London club to consider a replacement.
After making a critical error against Manchester United, Koscielny put in an indifferent performance in the 1-1 draw with Southampton.
Once rated as one of the best defenders in the league, the Arsenal fans are starting to feel that he’s no longer as good as he used to be.
Some have gone as far as suggesting that Arsenal need to replace him as quickly as possible.
Koscielny is finished.
Much as I love the guy, he is far too inconsistent.
Not at all reliable against a quality opposition.
His passing is woeful, no leadership and he gets physically bullied.
We need to sign a centre back in Jan, at any cost! pic.twitter.com/v7ezbYM8I0— Lets Talk Arsenal (@ltarsenal) December 10, 2017

Laurent Koscielny is one of the best CBs of the PL era. But without pace he's just an erratic guy who no longer can recover errors.

Koscielny has to be replaced.
Cazorla has to be replaced.
Özil & Alexis gone.I thought Arsenal have completed all their rebuilding job this summer but it looks the opposite.

Koscielny has been a great servant but his age is starting to show. Can't trust him 100% anymore. Needs back up.

So much is summed up in the fact that Koscielny still starts for Arsenal.

Koscielny suffers from chronic tendinitis in his achilles tendon and is unable to play every game without feeling pain.
As a result, there are times when he needs to be rested for a week or two to ensure he’s fit to play in the key matches. He’s played a lot in a short space of time, and could be out on the pitch battling with pain.
Calls for him to be replaced are understandable, but also hasty. Koscielny is still the best defender in the squad, in my opinion.
Finding a long-term replacement is important, but improving the overall quality of the defence should be the club’s main priority in the summer.
