Jakub Jankto’s agent Beppe Riso has ruled out a move in the January transfer window amid interest from Arsenal.

Jankto is playing well for Udinese and has been linked with a move in January. Arsenal, Everton, AC Milan and Juventus have been listed as possible destinations for the 21-year-old.

However, his agent, Beppe Riso, has seemingly ruled out a January move after claiming his client was focussed only on Udinese.

“He could be a good player for the Premier League because he has the right qualities to play there. We’ll talk about his possible transfer at the end of the season, now he is only focused on Udinese,” he said, as reported by Bleacher Report.

Arsenal have been tracking Jankto for a while. The Czech international could be an option to bolster the Gunners’ midfield options for the remainder of the season.

Aaron Ramsey’s hamstring will always be a concern, while Granit Xhaka’s performances have left a lot to be desired this season. Jack Wilshere is playing well, but his contract expires at the end of the campaign,

Mohamed Elneny and Francis Coquelin have also failed to convince as first-team players. Udinese may feel they can get more money for him in the summer than in January too.

Jankto’s good form will have a lot to do with that. The midfielder has five goals and fives assists in all competitions.
