Some members of the Arsenal squad are reportedly unhappy with how Arsene Wenger often seems to favour Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez despite their inconsistent form.

According to the Telegraph, there are certain members of Wenger’s squad who feel as if Ozil and Alexis are being ‘indulged’. Allegedly, there’s annoyance over both stars being treated as individuals rather than team players despite their mediocre showings in the Premier League this term.

The Chilean is the type of frustrating player whose performances can be well below par but he can produce a moment of brilliance that changes a game, which is probably why Wenger keeps playing him. However, I can understand why this would be infuriating for players who have been training hard and want the chance to impress for the first team but have to sit on the bench watching the 28-year-old lose the ball 21 times against West Ham…
