Aaron Ramsey officially bought the most expensive house in Wales this year for £3.1m.

According to the Daily Mail, who have managed to get their hands on Land Registry records, Ramsey bought a property in an exclusive suburb of Cardiff this year.

The midfielder, who turned 27 on Boxing Day, paid £3.1m for the 12,000 sq ft house – £1.4m lower than it’s original asking price of £4.5m – making it the most expensive house in Wales for 2017.

The Wales international’s new home puts him at least 160 miles away from north London.

However, this isn’t necessarily a reason to be concerned because his new abode boasts a helicopter pad.

This means that, if he has a spare helicopter and pilot hanging around, he can get to London Colney in around 60 minutes.

That’s probably faster than most of the players who actually live in London get there considering the traffic…

Ramsey’s new family home, which Gareth Bale is also said to have shown an interest in, has five bedrooms, a three-hole golf course, tennis court, and an outdoor pool with hot tub and sauna.

Oh, and 12-acres of land complete with elaborate water fountains.

Although £3.1m may seem like an eye-watering price to us mere mortals, apparently, it’s a ‘bargain’.

Ramsey moves in with his wife of three years, Colleen Rowlands, 27, who is said to be behind the move as she wanted to be closer to her family in Wales, and their two-year-old, Sonny.
