Arsenal fans think Arsène Wenger should start Alexandre Lacazette against Tottenham, and play him for the full 90 minutes, after the striker’s brace for France.
Lacazette has only completed the full 90 minutes in one match for the Gunners so far, against Leicester on the opening day of the season. He’s still managed to get six goals in the league, and he’s scoring for France as well.
Arsenal supporters think it’s time to give the 26-year-old a proper chance to keep doing the same for his club. In particular, fans and pundits pointed to Lacazette’s goal in the last 20 minutes against Germany, considering how often he’s been substituted in the later stages for Arsenal.
Lacazette has scored two goals for France. Wenger must be so frustrated that he can’t sub him off right now.

Lacazette now has 30 goals in 2017, more than any other French player (Mbappe 2nd with 27). Imagine if he played 90 minutes every weekend

How can you not start Lacazette against City?
Still can’t work it out.
Only Wenger. Only Arsenal.

Wenger puts Lacazette on the bench for the big games. Now he scores 2 goals against Germany. Wenger is done.

Please don't bench Lacazette for goodness sake Wenger… what more evidence do you want to see to justify his selection??

If Lacazette doesn’t start again on Saturday, and Arsenal don’t get a result, you get the feeling some fans will lose it. I have to admit it’s frustrating watching the striker subbed off early every game.
Giroud is playing the midweek matches anyway, and Romelu Lukaku has scored so many of his goals for Manchester United towards the end of matches against tired defences, so why not Lacazette?
Arsenal’s method of subbing Lacazette off leaves them at risk of the opposite problem, with the likes of Tom Cleverley popping up to score against you when you’ve already made the substitution.
It was Lacazette’s late shot that was well saved against Leicester, before Giroud scored from the resulting corner. If he’d been taken off early that day as well, who knows if Olivier would’ve had that chance?
We won’t know how effective Lacazette can be playing 90 minutes consistently until he plays 90 minutes consistently, and this weekend would be a good time to start.
