Eddie Nketiah scored four goals for the England u19s as they breezed past Faroe Islands with a 6-0 victory.
Nketiah was called up for England action alongside fellow academy prospects Reiss Nelson and Joe Willock.
All three have been rewarded for their good performances with senior opportunities at Arsenal in recent weeks, and Eddie’s two goals against Norwich City from the bench put him in the public eye.
Fortunately, it seems that the Arsenal 18-year-old is dealing with the pressure well, as he stole the limelight again with four goals and an assist on Wednesday night.
First he finished high into the net with his left after making a run through the middle and delaying the shot to leave the defender on the ground:

Next, he scored with his left again from close range. Eddie is predominantly right-footed, but when he gets a chance on his weaker side he’s more than willing to have a go:

To round out his hat-trick, the youngster then slotted home a penalty under the arms of the goalkeeper:

But there was still time to add one more, and in the final minutes Nketiah did just that, volleying home from a long through-ball.

Hopefully the striker can get a few more chances for Arsenal on his return to the club, but for now he has a couple more games against Iceland and Bulgaria to come.
