Olivier Giroud has scored some fantastic goals during his time with the Gunners, and we’re taking a look back at a few of them.
Arsenal Editor put together a video on YouTube of some of Olivier’s best goals for the Gunners, and you can’t deny he’s scored some fantastic efforts.
Winning the Puskás Award with a scorpion kick is just the cherry on top, to add to overhead kicks against Bayern Munich, Crystal Palace and Red Start Belgrade, and long range strikes against Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool.
Then there’s that sublime touch against West Ham to bring it down and finish with his right, the turn and finish against Liverpool, and as many headers as almost anyone in Europe.
It doesn’t make the video above because it’s not an Arsenal goal, but I couldn’t do an article about Olivier Giroud wonder goals without including his curling half-volley for France against Sweden over the summer.
Olivier may not be the most prolific striker the Gunners have ever had, but he’s still made it to over 100 goals for the team, and when he does score it often turns out to be something a bit special.
Hopefully there will be many more to come, starting with Red Star Belgrade on Thursday.
