Spurs could be without as many as eight players for the first North London Derby of the campaign on 18 November.

Harry Winks and Harry Kane have apparently withdrawn from England’s friendly clashes against Germany and Brazil with injuries.

Both Spurs players were substituted off during their 1-0 win over Crystal Palace on Sunday with Kane battling a hamstring injury, which saw him miss out on the Manchester United game, and Winks suffering a problem with his ankle.

Goalkeeper Hugo Lloris is also fighting to be fit in time for the clash at the Emirates after picking up a groin problem against Real Madrid; Toby Alderweireld could miss the game after suffering a hamstring injury in the Champions League; #2 goalkeeper Michel Vorm missed the Palace clash with a knee problem; Victor Wanyama is recovering from knee ligament damage and Erik Lamela is also working on his fitness after a year on the sidelines.

Therefore, Mauricio Pochettino could be without as many as eight players for the Arsenal game.

Although you should never have to rely on your opposition being weakened to win, Arsene Wenger – and Arsenal – desperately need a positive result after losing 3-1 away to Manchester City. They’re currently sixth in the Premier League and a victory over our bitter rivals could ease the pressure a little.
