Arsenal could welcome back Shkodran Mustafi and Danny Welbeck for the Tottenham game.

The pair have been absent for weeks due to muscular injuries, but could return to the squad on Saturday.

Mustafi, who injured his hamstring playing for Germany in October, will have a test to see if he’s fit. Welbeck will be tested as well after recovering from a groin strain he picked up in the 2-1 defeat to Watford last month.

Alex Iwobi could be a doubt as he returned from international duty with Nigeria late.

Olivier Giroud will miss the game with a minor injury, but should be back in time for Arsenal’s Europa League game against Cologne.

Laurent Koscielny was a doubt after sitting out France’s game against Germany, but will be fine for Saturday’s game.

There were no other injuries from the international break, which means we should see starts for Sead Kolasinac, Granit Xhaka, Aaron Ramsey, Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez.

Petr Cech, Hector Bellerin and Nacho Monreal have had the international break off and should be fit and fresh.

Tottenham, meanwhile, have been boosted by the return of Hugo Lloris, Harry Winks, Dele Alli and Harry Kane to first team training. Toby Alderweireld and Vincent Wanyama remain out.
